In the second box. The song is called Ballade Pour Adeline and I would like to learn how to play it. It constists of two pages. I can play The Entertainer 3/4 good, but I want to learn this badly because it has meaning to me. Can anyone please give me the fingering to this or a tuturial for it? I've checked youtube, but that's the only thing I've found. Any alternatives, besides youtube? Thanks.
Also, what level would you consider the Entertainer and this song? Thanks. Can anyone tell me the fingering for this piano sheet music?
Ballade pour Adeline - in the whole first line, every bar's first note is played by the left hand, holding it down so the sound continues while the right hand plays the following three notes. In later lines, left hand, use the sustaining pedal to keep the sound while you take up your hand to play the other notes. I don't know of any tutorial online, but this piece is really easy to play. About grade 3 or 4. Music bookshops would have a version which includes fingering, or you could try eBay.
Many people play a short version of The Entertainer which is only about grade 2. The full unabridged version has a lot of octave stretches, would be about grade 6Can anyone tell me the fingering for this piano sheet music?
Bluebell is right. First line the C is played with the left hand and held (I would probably use 1, but maybe 2 would be more correct looking at the second line). For the right hand on the first line, first measure, I would go with 1-3-4 (G-C-D), then for the second measure I would go with 1-5-1 (G-E-G).
Second line first measure:
left 5-3-1-3-1-3-1-3
right: 4-4-(4/1)-(5/2)
Second line Second measure:
left 5-2-1-2-1-2-1-2
right (5/2)-(5/2) for the (F/A) then use the pause to switch (4/1) for the (F/A) 16ths and use (5/2) for the (G/B)
I'll leave the rest to you.
